Lemon

Lemon are the most widely grown acid species belonging to the citrus group of fruits and have been used for generations for their therapeutic properties. Lemons are rich in vitamin C, and have cleansing effect on the digestive system. They are wide range of therapeutic properties, making them the mainstay for any good home  remedy chest.

Lemon are rich in vitamin B and C, has anti fungal, antiseptic and antacid properties. Can aids digestion of food also can act as blood purifier, helping to improve the body’s ability to expel toxins, this is useful to treat skin problems such as acne and boils.

It is one of the most powerful natural styptics; use on cuts and grazes to stop bleeding. Lemon antibacterial and antiviral properties makes it an excellent infections inhibitor, halting progression of infections. Can be use to controls bladder and kidney infections.

Uses:

Drinking fresh lemon juice (lemon in hot water) will help cleanse digestive system. Drinking lemon juice first thing in the morning as a liver tonic, whilst lemon juice drunk before going to bed may help relive cramp and ‘restless leg’ syndrome.

Lemon strengten the immune system and helps relieve the symptoms of colds and flu. It can be also beneficial in the treatment of other infection.

Apply pure lemon juice to wasp sting to relieve the pain

Drinking lemon juice mixed with olive oild may help to disollove gallstone.

A drop of lemon juice will also benefit ulcers on the tongue and in the mouth
